October 6, 2021The Miracle of the Dancing Sun occurred on October 13, 1917 in Fatima, Portugal. Accounts of the event state that after a period of rain, the dark clouds broke and the Sun appeared as an opaque, spinning disc in the sky. It was said to be significantly duller than normal, and to cast multicolored lights across the landscape, the people, and the surrounding clouds. The Miracle of the Dancing Sun was witnessed by thousands and led to the conversion of many souls.
Just as Our Lady of Fatima asked the children to pray the Rosary, the students and guests of Assumption BVM will join approximately 9,500 other Catholic school students across Wisconsin to pray the Rosary on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 9:00 am, for the salvation of our world. This is an open invitation to all parents, family, friends and parish members.
