5th Grade Woodmen Speech Contest

Every year the 5th grade students participate in a speech contest sponsored by the Modern Woodmen of America. Their speeches looked a little different this year -- they presented them via Zoom. The video conferencing meeting was held on May 28, 2020, with the students, their teacher/ Speech Advisor Mr. Robaidek, and the three judges. This year’s theme was “What Freedom Means To Me”.

Good job to all of the students for your hard work! The top three students were: Evelyn Mihalski – first place, Brennon Van De Yacht – second place, and Brady Freeman – third place. Thank you to the contest judges ~ Mrs. Grygiel, Mrs. Mangold, and Mrs. Pennings.
