Second Grade Teacher, Heather Tetzlaff

Teacher Bio

Hello! My name is Mrs. Heather Tetzlaff and I am the second grade teacher at Assumption BVM School. I grew up in De Pere, Wisconsin and earned my education degree, early childhood-middle adolescence education (4K-8th grade) with a minor in human development from UW-Green Bay. I live in Cecil, Wisconsin with my husband, Kirk, on our hobby farm that includes horses, goats, chickens, geese, ducks, rabbits, and lots more!
I am a 4-H judge and volunteer my time as the Beginners Obedience Instructor for the Brown County Tailwaggers 4-H Dog Project.
I enjoy working with my students and encouraging them to reach their goals! I truly believe in meeting students where they are and working with them to improve their skills in all content areas. I also believe that learning can and should be a fun process that students enjoy! When I am not in school, I enjoy spending time with my many animals, gardening, horseback riding, being outdoors, training and showing dogs (in agility, obedience, conformation, and rally) and camping.
